Combination skin is very common. Your skin is typically uneven in its texture, tone, and its oil and water content is unbalanced. Generally, your skin tends to be oily in the "T" zone (forehead, nose, and chin) sometimes with areas of oiliness, with possible congestion and breakouts. The imbalance can be caused by a variety of things like hormones, stress, diet, and your skincare routine.

How to deal with combination skin? You'll want to do some self-examination to learn what might be causing the imbalance. Could it be your diet (dairy and sugar are big culprits for many), hormones, stress, the products you're using? It may take some trial and error, but your patient persistence will pay off.

What else you can do. It might be tempting to use commercial products like chemical blemish treatments and drying masks that will strip the oil from your skin, but this usually has the opposite effect by encouraging more sebum production. Instead use my lavender products indicated here.

Lavender has an affinity for the skin and is helpful for all skin types and conditions. Selected oils such as red raspberry, tamanu, and clary sage,  complement the blends with their balancing and restoring properties. These products are designed to nourish and moisturize your dry skin but not overwhelm the oily areas.
