My Favorite Smoothie Recipe

My Favorite Smoothie Recipe

My Favorite Smoothie will help you feel beautiful and healthy from the inside out. And it's super simple to make.

Not all smoothies are created equal. Smoothies can be a great way to start your day; a light drink chock full of nutrient dense yumminess. But some smoothies can weigh you down with super sweet juices and other sweeteners like sugar, honey, and syrup.

Here is my go-to smoothie recipe:

  • Start with 1-2 cups of liquid of your choice. I love organic unsweetened almond milk. You can also use coconut milk or water, cashew milk, or rice milk. One half of a cup of kefir makes a fabulous addition.
  • Next add a handful of fresh or frozen berries such as blueberries or raspberries, a ripe frozen banana, and a handful of fresh spinach.
  • I like my protein in the form of hemp or flax seed. About 1-2 tablespoons will do.
  • Additional stuff to add in: maca powder, cacao powder, almond butter, ½ avocado.

Blend in a blender and enjoy. Delicious and nutritious! Smoothies are an awesome way to use up berries I picked this summer and froze to use all year long.

What's in your favorite smoothie?

A serum is a nutrition supplement for the skin. How do you incorporate a serum into your facial routine? A good rule of thumb to remember is that water comes first, and then you lock in that hydration with oil. Facial oils should always come last to seal in the moisture you’ve provided.

Got dry skin? Try colloidal oatmeal! Oatmeal is a classic ingredient used to soothe the skin and relieve itchy and dry skin conditions.
