Forest Therapy - Nature's Medicine

Forest Therapy - Nature's Medicine

How does being in nature make you feel? When you walk in the forest, what impact does the smell of the trees, the clean air, the feel of the spongy earth under your feet have on you?  What mood does it stir up?

Numbers of studies have concluded that forest bathing has real health benefits. In Japan, they practice something called forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.” It has little to do with taking a dip in the water, and more to with being immersed in the forest air and taking in nature through our senses. Forest therapy can help boost your immunity and mood and reduce blood pressure and stress.

The next time you’re in nature close your eyes and just breathe. Be still. Smell the trees. Open your ears and tune in to the sounds. Experience the ambiance of the forest through your senses. Relax, be energized, get clarity.

It’s nature’s medicine.

How To Use Facial Serums

A serum is a nutrition supplement for the skin. How do you incorporate a serum into your facial routine? A good rule of thumb to remember is that water comes first, and then you lock in that hydration with oil. Facial oils should always come last to seal in the moisture you’ve provided.
