Beauty Recipe: Bath Soak

Beauty Recipe: Bath Soak

Indulge in one of life’s simplest pleasures by treating your body to this delectable luxury. We are sharing our recipe for an indulgent bath soak that you can make at home. When handcrafting this bath soak, we hope you are mindful of the quality of ingredients you select: organic, wild harvested, sustainable, conscious. Choose each ingredient with intention and ponder the superior attributes with which each will pamper your skin.

Oatmeal
Epsom Salt
Dried Lavender Buds, Calendula Flower Petals, or Rose Petals
Glass Jar with Lid

Measure about one cup of oatmeal
Grind the oatmeal into fine flour using a food processor or blender
Combine the oat flour and about 1 cup of Epsom salt together
Leave the flowers intact or grind them in a food processor as you please
Stir the flowers into the oat and salt mixture
Store in a glass jar

When you’re ready to spoil yourself, add two spoonfuls to warm running bath water, light a candle, turn down the lights, grab a microbrew or bath time cocktail and relax.

We hope we’ve inspired you to take your self-care routine to an elevated and delightful level.

A serum is a nutrition supplement for the skin. How do you incorporate a serum into your facial routine? A good rule of thumb to remember is that water comes first, and then you lock in that hydration with oil. Facial oils should always come last to seal in the moisture you’ve provided.

Got dry skin? Try colloidal oatmeal! Oatmeal is a classic ingredient used to soothe the skin and relieve itchy and dry skin conditions.
