A brand new us!

Welcome to the new Mountain Girl Soap! You may have noticed that things in these parts have changed. We are more than a new logo and pretty new packaging. We’re alive with a sharp focus, with values that are clearly aligned and we demonstrate that in everything we do.

At Mountain Girl Soap we obsess over two things. Our Pacific Northwest culture and plant-based skin care. We exist at the intersection of where these two roads come together. The fusion of these two passions is the reason why we are here.

Paying homage to our roots. Every day is a celebration of what it means to be a Pacific North-Westerner. We’re more than just craft beer drinking, blackberry picking, clam digging, weather obsessing, coffee connoisseurs. We have tremendous pride in our way of life, respect for local tradition, and a strong desire to preserve the natural beauty of our environment.

Single-minded. Admittedly, we have a one-track mind. Our singular focus is to make the best soap we know how. We formulate with an expert hand and craft in micro-batches. It’s what we do.

Ingredients. We use selected ingredients sourced from farms in the Pacific Northwest region. Sometimes they are more expensive, but the environmental savings is worth it. We use non-animal materials and organic whenever possible.

Packaging. Recycling is more than a buzzword. It’s our way. We package our products in cardboard, paper, glass, and plastic (yes, sometimes plastic is the better choice). We select thoughtful suppliers; our boxes are printed with eco-friendly organic inks and our labels with water-based inks on printers powered by wind-generated electricity.
