Incense-cedar is very aromatic, with citrus, coniferous and woody notes - an instant transportation to a cedar forest!
We steam-distill Calocedrus decurrens (Incense-cedar) hydrosol from trees grown and harvested on our land and from logging activities in Shasta County. We slow distill fresh cedar tips in copper alembic, and hybrid stainless steel/copper stills for high-quality hydrosols. See a video of our process.
Store in a cool, dry place. For a cooling mist store in the refrigerator. Use within one year of opening.
Note: Due to COVID-19 many manufacturing resources are being diverted and there is currently an industry wide shortage on clear glass bottles with atomizer tops. Fine mist sprayers are in high demand right now. We are doing our best to provide continuity in packaging but please understand if alternate packaging is used.
Our favorite uses for incense-cedar hydrosol:
We spray on our pet beds and around pet areas
Natural insect repellant
Due to its antimicrobial properties, it's a great ingredient in homemade cleaners
Linen, surface or room spray
Use in place of water in a diffuser to clear the air.
A great alternative to essential oils, for "gentle aromatherapy"
