How to Freshen Your Face Mask or Covering

How to Freshen Your Face Mask or Covering

If you’re like me, you want your mask to look great but also feel fresh between washings. More about washing your mask in a minute...

So, how do you keep your mask fresh between washings? I have just the thing – hydrosols! My collection of hydrosols not only smell amazing, but they are the perfect way to naturally freshen your mask between washings. Hydrosols naturally contain the plant's cellular water, nutritive components, plus micro-particles of essential oil, and so you get a gentle aromatherapy treatment! Benefit from the emotional and therapeutic properties that are inherent to hydrosol, plus freshen your fabric at the same time.

How to Use Hydrosol to Freshen Your Face Mask

Find a safe place to remove your mask and holding the bottle 6-8 inches away from your mask spray 1-2 pumps onto your mask. While you’re at it gently spritz your face, too! Hydrosol is very gentle and all-natural containing 100% pure hydrosol and nothing else. Let the mask dry for a few seconds and you’re done.

F R E S H…

And...take the bottle with you – it fits so nicely in your bag or desk drawer at work. When you’re ready for refreshment, you can spritz your mask, your face, and your environment. Pro tip: I like to add hydrosol in my room diffuser in place of the water.

More About Mask Washing

The CDC recommends washing your cloth mask whenever it gets dirty or at least daily. You can include your mask with your regular laundry, using regular laundry detergent and the appropriate settings according to the fabric label. Or you can wash your mask by hand with water and laundry soap, rinsing thoroughly with clean water to remove the soap. You can dry your mask in a dryer, hang it in the direct sunlight or lay it flat to dry completely.

Stay Healthy Friends,
