Store Spotlight - Whiskeytown National Recreation Area

I'd like to introduce you to one of the stores that carry Mountain Girl Soap, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area's Visitor's Center. Our relationship began in 2013 when I was contacted by the Park Store Manager. 

Bejeweled by a pristine sparkling blue lake surrounded by mountain peaks, waterfalls, mountain creeks and 70 miles of hiking trails, Whiskeytown NRA has it all. They have camping, boat rentals and ranger guided programs. 

My favorite part of Whiskeytown? The Hidden Falls! Yes! Isn't that amazing? Originally discovered in 1967 Whiskeytown Falls was kept a secret until it was rediscovered in 2004. The 220 foot torrent cuts a curved route so you can't see or photograph the whole falls at once. Thus it beckons you to explore. I love it.
