Lemon Balm Hydrosol

  • Melissa is renown for its skin soothing benefits. Steam-distilled Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) hydrosol from plants grown and harvested on my land. I slow distill fresh Lemon Balm leaves in a copper alembic still for a high-quality hydrosol. Click here to learn about the process. The aroma is herbal, floral, fruity, and citrus. Lemon Balm is calming and helpful for stress and anxiety. Lemon Balm hydrosol is a wonderful toner for oily prone skin.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. For a cooling mist store in the refrigerator. Use within one year of opening.
  • Note: Due to COVID-19 many manufacturing resources are being diverted and there is currently an industry wide shortage on clear glass bottles with atomizer tops. Fine mist sprayers are in high demand right now. I am doing my best to provide continuity in packaging but please understand if alternate packaging is used.
  • My favorite uses for lemon balm hydrosol:
    • Facial toner. Mist onto the face and neck after cleansing for a balanced glow. Naturally acidic, hydrosols help to balance the pH of the skin
    • Calming, uplifting
    • Body spray after shower
    • Cooling mist on hot summer days when a refreshing spritz is welcome
