A time and season for introspection

A time and season for introspection

If you’re like me, you yearn for bright, sunny mornings, long days, and warm temperatures. Especially if you live in northern latitudes where the sun disappears for months. While we naturally gravitate to the sun’s energy, we’re also learning to appreciate the different markers of the passing of time indicated by the seasons. Yes, including winter...

As we gradually approach winter, we’re offered an opportunity to slow down and look inward.  Self-examination helps satisfy our natural desire to find meaning in life. Easier said than done, right? Introspection is not simple; it calls for self-awareness, deliberate effort, and quiet contemplation. How do we do it? Ask yourself: Who do I want to be? What is my purpose? Are my thoughts and actions in harmony with the type of person I want to be? Am I living my life intentionally and deliberately to reach my goal? If not, then what do I need to do?

When we reflect and courageously act upon the answers to these questions by bringing the elements of our lives into alignment they are the pathways that lead us to peace.

Prayerful meditation on scriptural passages may be helpful during your time of self-examination. An aromatic essence like this essential oil synergy blend I use is beneficial as well. It’s good for diffusion, inhalation or diluted on the skin.

20% Frankincense – Introspective, emotional well-being

 Be Courageous and Strong.
Wishing you clarity of mind and peace of spirit.
